The Downtown Community Partnership Business Improvement District (BID) is the first business improvement district in North Dakota and has been striving towards its mission since 2012. The BID works to improve and enhance the overall attractiveness and appeal of Downtown Fargo. This is done by making sure our downtown is clean, safe, maintained and properly promoted.
“As a business owner, I am so happy to have Bid employees on the streets both cleaning and keeping our streets safe. If I call about an issue of either a dirty sidewalk from the late night prior or someone of concern, they are at my door in 5 minutes or less. Keeping our downtown clean and safe. They take great pride in going above and beyond. I am so impressed and glad they are a part of downtown.” – Cindy O’Day
“The Ambassador Program is a positive change for downtown, and I think it’s something that’s only going to get better over time. I see the Ambassadors and the Police having a good partnership that will continue to grow stronger as the program develops further. Plus, having the Ambassadors in downtown is a great resource for visitors and businesses, and they contribute to the safety of the neighborhood.” – Lieutenant Chris Helmick
“The City of Fargo would like to pass along their appreciation to the Fargo BID staff. The addition of Block by Block to the BID team has made a tremendous difference in the downtown community. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly, hardworking and passionate about making Downtown Fargo a better place. The key to success is having strong partnerships with organizations like the BID. City staff looks forward to collaborating on future projects. Thanks for all that you do!” – Derrick LaPoint
